I TANFORAN TURF NOTES a Jockey Lynn Josephson was an arrival from his home in Blackfoot, Idaho, where he has been vacationing for the past month. Condition books for the final eight days of racing were issued Tuesday morning. Ovlop was ordered withdrawn from the second race Tuesday because of lameness. Bert Kennedy, former topnotch jockey, is among the employes of the Tanforan pari-mutuel department. Ross Cooper states that Brown Jade is back in training after having been indis--posed for a week or more. Tanforan dockers are experiencing, much difficulty in timing the horses in the mornings because of the heavy fog. Therefore but few workouts are recorded. Hurst Philpot has announced that his fleet filly First Kiss wilL not be a starter in the San Francisco Handicap. Philpot does not care to take a chance on training his star over the heavy Tanforan track.
