"WARM UPS" ARE BARRED NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 6 Notice was issued by the Louisiana Jockey Club stewards, John T. Ireland and Richard A. Leigh, Sr., that "warming up" horses after the parade passes the grandstand will not be permitted in the future. Two accidents, one resulting fatally in the seventh race Monday afternoon at the local course, prompted the action of the stewards. G. T. Hannas Belleek was almost instantly killed when she ran away, unseated her rider and jumped the outside rail at the gap near the three-quarter mile pole. In an earlier race Unfurl tossed apprentice George Martin over the rail on the return from "warming up" and the youngster narrowly escaped injury.
