BUTTER BEANS TURF BARGAIN One of the most consistent and hardy racers on the turf is no other than the veteran mare Butter Beans. Like, good wine, j she improves with age. She is a rare bargain having been purchased as a yearling for 25, and in eight years of racing she has ! won 47 races out of 185 starts, and 1,215. Up to December 3 she had won ten races this year.
