BUYS SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMP SAN BRUNO, Calif., Dec. 6. Word was received here today that Charles S. Howard, owner of Seabiscuit, had purchased the best horse in South America and that the animal is now en route to this country. The horse is Sorteado, a four-year-old and Triple Crown winner in South America. He is said to have accounted for the Derby, Grand Nacional, Premio and one other outstanding event. Howard, who is reported to have paid 0,-000 for the foreigner, will ha-e him prepped for the Santa Anita Handicap it is said.
