ASK PRICE ON H0LLYR00D Headley Says Horse Is Not for Sale Roman Soldier Another Stallion Sought After. LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 6. Cromwell Bloodstock Agenr was requested by a breeder in another state to ask Hal Price Headley for a price on Hollyrood. The master of Beaumont Farm replied that the five-year-old son of High Cloud from Mandy Hamilton, by John o Gaunt, is not for sale. "I believe Hollyrood is entitled to a better chance in the stud than probably would be his outside of Kentucky, and, too, I believe I would be more interested in giving him that chance than would another person, so I have decided to keep him at Beaumont until he has had his opportunity," said Head-ley. The horses book is filling satisfactorily. Another horse wanted under a leasing arrangement by a client of Cromwell Bloodstock Agency is Roman Soldier, worthy son of Cohort from Miamba, by Light Brigade, which is standing at Horace N. Davis Blue Grass Heights Farm, near Lexington, for the account of Elwood Sachsenmaier, of Charlotte, N. C. Roman Soldiers book is so nearly full for 1939, that a leasing proposition could not have been entertained, even if attractive to the owner.
