E. F. SIMMS PASSES AWAY HOUSTON, Texas, Dec. 6. Edward F. Simms, of Houston, who founded the Xalapa Stud Farms, in Kentucky, died today in a Baltimore hospital, according to word received, here. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Paris, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Weir Simms, a step-daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Franzheim, of this city, a sister, Miss Lucy Simms, of Paris, Ky., and a brother, W. T. Simms, Versailles, Ky.
