COHIGH raced to the front early and, although headed by TRUELY FLO rounding the far turn, took command again in the stretch and had little trouble holding LOVELY BELLS safe at the end. LOVELY BELLS acted badly at the post, but raced well up and made a game bid. in the stretch. NED S. was unable to keep up with the early leaders, but finished fairly well. HIGH ACE, off well, caught RICH DADDY after going a quarter to open up a good lead in the stretch and won in hand. PRINCE BOW saved ground while making his move approaching the stretch turn and easily disposed of RICH DADDY in the last eighth. RICH DADDY was used up making the pace and was tiring. PROCLIVITY finished well. GUARANTY had some early speed. WILL DO was always outrun and seemed slightly lame after pulling up. Overweight Will Do, 3 pounds. THIRD RACE 1 1-16 MILES. CLEOS PRIDE, close up from the start, got through an opening nearing the stretch turn to take a good lead when straightened out for home and had enough left at the finish to hold IDLE LAD safe. The latter, saved well up in the early part, made a game move in the middle of the track in the stretch and was pressing the winner at the finish. SEXTUS showed a good effort to finish well. VICTOR had good early speed, but tired in the stretch. VALE OF TEARS was used up making the pace and had little left. LORENA J. showed a creditable effort. The latter raced wide while miking her move, but finished well. OLD JUDGE was badly outrun early, but finished fast between horses. ROSE CRYSTAL had , no excuses and tired near the end. BLUE HOUR was going fairly well at the finish. CARBON COPY raced well for three-quarters. CLAUDE K. was in close quarters while racing on the inside and had a rather rough trip. THE LAKE, a forward contender from the start, responded gamely to hard urging in the stretch and, finishing well, held DROMBO safe. The latter was close up from the start and, going gamely to the finish, . was beaten but narrowly. DRACO had a rough trip, being in close quarters several times, then came to the outside in the stretch to be forced wide, but finished well. THE DARB made a strong move after entering the stretch, but tired near the finish. MAID OF PERTH had the most early speed, but raced wide in the stretch and tired. PETER F. was taken back when in close quarters nearing the stretch turn and was never dangerous thereafter. WILDRUN and MARY CARMEN seemed outclassed. Scratched 69302 Jean Cloud, 105.
