ROMNES TRADED FOR THOMS President William Tobin, of the Chicago Black Hawks, has announced the acquisition of Bill Thorns, Toronto Maple Leafs forward, in exchange for Center Doc Romnes. The Hawks have scored but two goals in their last four games and the move to get Thorns was prompted by the desire to have some player in the game who can get the puck in the cage.
