KOONTZ NAMES 28 MARES LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 9 John S. Wiggins i today stated that Fred B. Koontz, Tulsa, Okla., oil magnate and master of Paulfred Farms, has nominated twenty-eight of the sixty-five mares he now has at Wiggins Military Stock Farm, near Paris, for the Pimlico Futurity of 1940. Wiggins says twenty of the mares are in foal to Sweeping Light and eight in foal to Pairbypair. Wiggins further stated that the Koontz-Wiggins consignment of yearlings to Saratoga Springs next year will number twenty to twenty-two and that Fasig-Tipton Company has allotted Tuesday, August 8, as the sale date.
