RESTORED TO GOOD STANDING NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 9 A communication was received by the Louisiana Jockey Club stewards stating that L. L. Chambers, trainer, and Justin Howell, apprentice, were automatically restored to good standing with the expiration of the Bowie, Md., meeting. Both were suspended on the eve of the close of the season at Prince Georges Park. The chairman of the Maryland Racings Commission explained in the communication that the Chambers-Howell case had not been referred to that body for further action and, therefore, under the rules, both parties involved are in good standing. Both Chambers and Howell today filed application for licenses.
