FIVE YEARLINGS CHRISTENED Jockey Club Okays Monikers Selected for Youngsters Owned by 0. E. Mickens, Texas Turfman. NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 9 C. E. Mickens, Texas turfman, announced this morning the confirmation of names for five yearlings he submitted to the registrar of The Jockey Club in New York, and the granting of the remaining three in the group of nine owned by Glad Acres Farm. Names for a trio trained by B. B. Rice for L. W. Ulmer also have been granted. Those in the Mickens outfit are Gay Heels, a bay colt by Flying Heels Gay Nan; Blue Phila, a gray filly by Kiev Girl Nancy; Spring Air, a bay fiily by Cog-Air Leonia Winter; Kiev Wave, a bay colt by Kiev Wavelet; Haughty Jack, a bay colt by Hi-jjack Haughty Lady. The final three for R. B. Georges Glad Acres outfit are Sudie Greenock, a chestnut filly by Greenock Belladona; Miss Cleo, a chestnut filly by Greenock Miss Torch and Mary Greenock, a chestnut filly by Greenock Thats Mine. Those under the supervision of B. B. Rice are Sir Sard, a bay colt by Sir Andrew Agnes Sard; Macs Canter, a bay colt by Happy Argo Grand Duchess II., and Pompe Grande, a bay filly by Pompey Georgia Rose.
