FOREIGN BOOK FOR HAVANA Levey Announces Plans to Accomo date Turfites Who like to Wager on Races in America. - i HAVANA, Cuba, Dec. 9. In furtherance of his policy "the public be pleased," Albert1 Levey, president of the Havana-American4 Racing Association, today announced that a foreign book to accommodate turfites wh,6 wish to wager on races in the states will function during the fifty-two days of the gigantic Oriental Park meeting beginning January 12. j The establishment of the foreign book Is" one of many innovations to be introduced by! the New York sportsman for the conven-1 ience of race patrons. It will be located in1 the betting ring proper in the grandstand area of the Marianao plant 1 1 Levey will accommodate players whn fancy horses competing at Hialeah, Fla New Orleans, and for that matter any anandi every track in America. The best wire serv-j ice and experienced operators will bring the results the moment the races have been run and won. Payoffs will be made after each, event. s The foreign book is new to Cuba. It origfi nated in Mexico years ago and went over with a bang at Juarez, Tijuana and Agua Caliente. Levey believes it has been a long felt want in Cuba and that success will be instantaneous. j
