I TA1MF0RAN TURF NOTES f ? : Jockey Silvio Coucci will leave for Santa Anita Saturday. Coucci goes south to report to trainer Walter Taylor. Hurst Philpot shipped the following horses to Santa Anita Thursday: First Kiss, Tuleby, Edith, Balkan Land, Counsellor Fal, Ticks Tot and Tickaway. j T. Loeff has shipped the sprinters Play-master and Model Dame to Agua Caliente. Both horses earned brackets at Tanforan. L. O. "Slim" Lee has severed connections with the Edgemont Stable and has also given up the training of the horses of J. Kohlbush. Lee will depart for San Diego shortly. Independant Way, which was recently barred from competition because of bad post behavior, has been okayed to start. L. O. Lee, who took an option on apprentice A. Siler, has t- .rned the boy back to his contract employer, M. B. Anderson. The latter has turned the boys book over to Jim Allen. j
