VEDDER RESUMES RIDING NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 9. Jockey R. L. "Bobby" Vedder, who was forced to cancel his only riding engagement Thursday, due to illness, made his return to the saddle Friday afternoon at the Fair Grounds.
