1 TANFORAN TURF NOTES I g Trainer E. Myers will take over the horses Merced Queen and Bern o Due for E. H. Moore. Myers replaces J. W. Clark. R. J. Rossi has been granted a license to train his own horse, Elstree. Rossi replaces Tom Holloway, who has had the conditioning of the gelding since the opening of Tanforan. Frank Kelley, well-known starter at the California fairs, departs for Red Bluff, Friday. Kelley will do the starting for the two-day meeting, which gets under way Saturday. Runanconard has been placed on the stewards list. After racing wide in the second race, Tuesday, carrying several other horses out with her, the stewards examined her and found that she is very sore. W. A. McKinney, a recent arrival from Agua Caliente with several head, was granted a license to train at Tanforan and Bay Meadows. Apprentice R. Robinson, under contract to F. R. Doyle, arrived from Agua Caliente late Tuesday afternoon. Robinson rode Sporting Green in the third race, Wednesday. Marguerite L. and Sahara Chief, both bad actors at the post, have been placed on the schooling list. ! ;
