NO DEFINITE CAMPAIGN PLANS John E. Mason to Ship Stable to Detroit or Cleveland String of Eight in Training. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 12. John E. Mason, owner and trainer of the Spring Valley Stable, arrived from Paris, Ky., with eight horses he will campaign through the Churchill Downs season. Six of them race under the colors of the Spring Valley Farm and the other two are owned by Mrs. H. B. Allman, of Kenova, W. Va. The Spring Valley horses are Gay Jay, Cohort Girl, Little Ripper, Relia, Rock Ace, and an unnamed two-year-old. Rock Ace is a juvenile son of Grandace and Lufian, while the unnamed youngster is a colt by Mirafel and Inzor. The two horses Mason has for Mrs. All-man are Lady Brilliant and Black Bonny. Mason has made no definite plans for the racing of his stable after the close of the Churchill Downs meeting, but expects to ship either to Detroit or Cleveland.
