SUPPLEMENT ARIES TO CLASSIC April 15 Final Day to Name Three-Year-Olds for Arlington Parks Mid-Summer Feature. The third phase of the new "futurity" conditions introduced for the 1939 Classic Stakes, the ,500 supplementary entries permitting the nomination of late three-year-old developments, will close on April 15, Arlington Park officials said here today. The Classic Stakes, carrying 0,000 in added money, will show a notable increase in value this year due to the new conditions. It is estimated that the race will gross about 0,000, with approximately 8,000 going to the winner, while the owner of the second horse will earn ,000, the third horse ,000 and the fourth horse ,000. The Classic Stakes, the most important race for American three-year-olds in midsummer, is the highlight of the Arlington Park meeting, which this year will run from June 26 to July 29, inclusive. Supplementary entries for the Classic are to be sent to the Arlington Park Jockey Club, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
