FOAL BY FORTUNATE YOUTH HOUSTON, Texas, April 12. J. E. Winfree, Texas legislator and racing enthusiast, reported Wednesday that the first foal of the year by Fortunate Youth arrived at the Win-free farm, near Houston. It is a fine colt, from the St. James mare Warble. Fortunate Youth, a son of Lucky Hour, was a good sprinter a few years ago. His first foals are now yearlings. Three-year-olds Weaver Moore, Willie Win and Windy Smith, all the get of Drink Hearty, a son of Escoba, are now in training at the farm and are scheduled for their racing debuts this season.
