I KEENELAND TURF NOTES I 8 S The Louisville sportsman, Henry M. Walker, will have five horses to represent him at the local meeting. The Walker stable, in charge of Wm. Dorsey, was a recent arrival from Hot Springs and found quarters at the trotting track. The quintet consists of Tra-La-La, Ada W., Queenie Wing, Darling Mary and Jimmy W. Thomas E. Nash and Mrs. Nash arrived at Shandon Farm from their home in Chicago and expect to remain for the entire meeting. Nash is a son of P. A. Nash, who maintains the Shandon Farm here. According to J. J. Greely, Jr., manager of the farm, P. A. Nash will be here in a few days to inspect the horses Greely has in training at Keeneland and to look over the yearlings and brood mares at the farm. J. J. Sirl, trainer for Garrett Watts, moved the good mare Silverette to Keeneland from the trotting track along with the two-year-old Winlette. Sirl turned out Swin-ford Ette at the Watts farm and picked up the three-year-old Sir L., which was rested during the winter. Usay, another member of the Watts establishment, was shipped to Beulah Park Tuesday. The young local trainer, Ken Cobb, is preparing False Lashes, a nominee for the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks, at the trotting track. The filly is not expected to be ready for the Derby, but Cobb hopes to have the Kenton R. Wright colorbearer ready for her engagement in the Oaks. Cobb is also conditioning Fair and Fast, a two-year-old chestnut filly by Whiskalong Fair Rosalind, which also races for Wright. Adelia B. and Compulsion, two other members in the stable under the direction of Cobb, sport the silks of the C. C. Stable, maintained by his mother, Mrs. H. A. Cobb. Hamilton "Hamp" Johnson, in the employ of the late Gallaher Brothers for twenty-five years, died here Wednesday. Johnson was about sixtey-eight years old. The horses Otto Bagley unloaded at the trotting track for the Blue Ridge Farm aire made up of Witan, Flying Breeze, Wise Barrister, Elooto, Lillian Roth, Sympathizer, Chicalba, Madelyn F., Perplex and Jim John. Bagley sent My Grandson, Bunny Jr. and Galeco to Fairmount Park from Hot Springs, to await the opening of that meeting.
