SWEEPING LIGHT YOUNGSTERS Quartet of Two-Year-Olds by Koontz Stallion Being Trained for Debuts in Kentucky. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 12. Four juveniles by the stallion Sweeping Light, owned by F. B. Koontz of Tulsa, Okla., and standing at the Military Stock Farm in Kentucky, are among the horses R. O. Higdon will race in Kentucky this spring. One of them is Lights Ahead, a filly from Lady Teddy, owned by Koontz. Another is Pinnacle Light, a filly from Miss Onine, and the third is Dancing Light, a colt from Spinning Way, owned by Higdon. The last is Lighter Moods, a filly from Lady Caprice, owned by G. L. Hamilton, also of Tulsa. The older horses in the stable, all the property of Higdon, are Chronology, Play-o-Mar, Charmette, Margaret G., Incredible, Gay Bubble and Achieve. Lights Ahead, Pinnacle Light, Chronology, Play-o-Mar, Charmette, Margaret G. and Gay Bubble were sent to Keeneland, with the others remaining at Douglas Park. Clayton Perkins is attached to the stable and will do most of the riding.
