I LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES and G. B. Scallon, of Dallas, will begin the Kentucky season with six horses he brought to Douglas Park from Texas. Six horses make up the stable, Ron, Wild Pigeon, Joyride, Transport, Sir Ajax and Tusco. The latter, a three-year-old son of Transmute and Prim-dora, has never faced the starter. Jockey Herb Litzenberger is attached to the stable and will do most of its riding. Jockey Arthur Cooper, whose home is in Anchorage, Ky., near here, arrived from Florida and expected to get back into action during the Kentucky season. He will be in Lexington in time to accept mounts there opening day, Thursday, and then will return for the Churchill Downs season. Frank Hurley will make his engagements. S. J. Molay has three horses training at Douglas Park for Mrs. L. C. Molay. They are Fire Advance, Labor Day and Insco-mira, which raced well all winter in New Orleans.
