1 FAIRM0UNT PARK NOTES I $ s A return to beautiful weather has intensified training activities. To help horsemen in their endeavors, general manager D. C. Burnett moved the starting gate out to the quarter mile chute. Starter Johnny Morrissey is expected in by Saturday so he can disperse the field in the test race on the Sabbath. The popular starter is still vacationing. J. P. "Tiny" Keezek wired he is shipping twelve horses here from Keeneland. The Missouri Chapter of the National Association of Postmasters will have a day in their honor here Saturday, May 13. Postmaster W. Rufus Jackson of St. Louis is making the arrangements. Jackson is a warm racing fan and formerly handled pub-jlicitf for Fairmount Park in -the regime of Matt Winn.
