QUIET TIME, bettering her position on the outside, responded strongly when reaching the stretch and wore down BRAVE HEART in the last sixteenth to have enough in reserve to withstand PART ONE. The latter circled his field after being outrun to the stretch turn, then came full of run. BRAVE HEART showed good speed while setting the pace and saved ground to draw clear, but tired under punishment in the last eighth. MAROC was well up from the beginning, but vas not good enough. DINAMITA raced well. HARDIHOOD could not reach the leaders. BIG BUDDY was used up forcing the early pace. BUDS KING was outrun. WEST ACRE propped when the break came and would not extend himself. DISSEMBLER, shuffled back going to the first turn, found racing room on the inside to reach the pacemaker on the final turn, swung to the outside when reaching the stretch and finished strongly to get up nearing the close. GORSE raced CHAINWICK into submission, saved much ground and fought it out gamely. KINROSS, lacking early speed, closed gamely to pass tiring horses. CORNWALLIS was outrun for the entire trip. CHAINWICK offered stout contention for three-quarters, then quit. WISE SISTER did not fancy the footing and was done early. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. ORCADES, going strongly while racing forwardly, challenged the pacemaker when reaching the stretch, ■withstood a stout drive willingly and came out in the last fifty yards. PERLETTE had to be rushed hard to get to the front and saved ground, but could not withstand the winner. LITTLE DRIFT was in the thick of contention all the way and held on gamely. SUNNYSHORE, away well but lacking earlv speed, finished with good speed when settled in stride. LADY INFINITE raced well. ROYAL BUSINESS raced on the inside in the deep footing for the first five-eighths, then was taken wide in the stretch. CAREFUL MISS was held safe. SCOUT ABOUT showed speed in the first half mile. IMPRUDENT broke swiftly to take command, displayed good ability in the footing, was kept out from the rail in the last three-sixteenths and held NOSY safe under steady pressure. NOSY moved into a forward position early, raced on the outsido of the winner rounding the turn, then saved some ground in the stretch. RUMBA GUS was hard ridden to keep in a forward position, was placed to punishment when reaching the stretch and finished gamely while saving ground in the last stages. ZOSTERA was unable to improve his position at any time. HIGH HEDGE could not threaten the leaders while going forwardly early and tired badlv in the last three-sixteenths. DARK FRIEND, rated back of the pacemaker, was shaken up on the final turn, made a weak bid, then was severely punished through the final drive. JAMES PAL sprinted into a long lead and saved ground, but tired when the real test came. JUSTA FLIGHT dropped far back in the first half mile, then circled his. field to make up much ground. EARLY TIMES was prominent, but could not threaten. GLISTEN was never a threat. DUNRITA was crowded going to the first turn, then was outrun. JUNE O. had no mishaps. ITSIE BITSIE was done carlv. BRAVING DANGER, reserved off the pace for the first seven-eighths, moved forward readily when placed to pressure, swung to the outside to enter contention midway of the stretch, wore down MANTAGNA and came out at the close. REBEL YELL, going well placed early, challenged strongly on the final turn and continued gamely to the finish. MANTAGNA was unable to get clear after taking the lead, shook off POPO, but could not stay with the first two. TURKISH BRAND dropped far out of contention early, then was taken very wide in the late stages. POPO was used up racing on the inside of MANTAGNA to force the pace and tired. PUDDLES could not keep up when placed to a drive. JAMES BOY should show improvement. CHILLY EBBIE was held safe.
