1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES ?! $ $ ! E. Babcock is undecided where he will race the four horses he has for his wife. Should Babcocks application for stalls at Churchill Downs be accepted, he will transfer his stable to the Falls City course. The eight horses A. C. Whalen has at the trotting track will be rested there several days before going to North Randall. The Blue Ridge Farm stable of William OToole, Chicago sportsman, headed by the handicap horses Wise Barrister and Elooto, leave here Friday for Fairmount Park. Other horses trainer Otto Bagley will move from here to the southern Illinois track are Witan, Flying Breeze, Chicalba, Lillian Roth, [ Sympathizer and Perplex. Three two-year-[ olds were shipped to Fairmount Park from ;Hot Springs after the Oaklawn Park meeting and, according to Bagley, have been in constant training since leaving the Vapor City. The veteran rider T. P. Martin and apprentice W. Prehm will do the riding for the OToole establishment during the Fair-mount Park meeting. E. E. Minor of the Railway Express Agency arrived here and will assist horsemen in shipping their charges to other tracks. John J. Flanigan sent a half dozen of the Valdina Farm horses he has here to Churchill Downs Wednesday morning. The. others will go forward Thursday and Friday. William Kenney, Jr., will take Valvesta and Glen Kenney to Churchill Downs Saturday morning. David Sager is asked to get in touch with; his mother at 418 South Central Park Avenue, Chicago, 111. Charles Kurtsinger has been engaged to ride Valdina Farms Viscounty in Thursdays renewal of the Blue Grass Stakes. The condition of Thomas Carr Piatt, president of the Thoroughbred Club of America and widely known bxeeder and owner, was very much improved Tuesday, but it will be some time before Piatts condition permits his removal to his home from a local hospital. Pat A. Nash, part owner of Shandon Farm, who has been at Shandon Farm for several days, returned to Chicago Monday night. He plans to be at Havre de Grace on Saturday to watch Burning Star carry his colors in the Philadelphia Handicap. j [ ;
