GEHRIG OUT OF LINE-UP DETROIT, Mich., May 2.— "Iron Man" Lou Gehrigs consecutive game record was broken today when he was replaced in the Yankee line-up by "Babe" Dahlgren, who was named for the first base position in the Yankees scheduled game with the Detroit Tigers today. Gehrig had played in 2,130 games in sequence. Manager Joe McCarthy of the Yankees announced Gehrig had asked hto be taken from the line-up.
