MURPHY CHICAGO VISITOR Judge Joseph A. Murphy, one of the foremost racing officials in America and one of the oldest in point of service, paid a flying visit to Chicago over the last week-end and departed for his home in St. Louis Tuesday morning. He consulted with president Charles Krutckoff, of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, operator of the Hawthorne track, on business connected with the old Stickney track. He will return to Chicago about May 13, for a slightly longer stay. Murphy just recently returned from Florida, where he has a winter home in Coral Gables.
