DERBY DECLARATIONS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 2.— Declarations or scratches from Saturdays Derby program must be made no later than 5 p. m. Friday, horsemen were advised in a notice issued by Churchill Downs racing officials today: Owners or trainers of horses on the "also-eligible" list also are advised that acceptance cards must be deposited with the racing secretary at the same time. There will be no change in the time for closing entries for the Derby card. It remains 10:30 a. m.
