KIDNAPPERS RELEASE LAMPE MEXICO CITY, May 2.— Oscar Lampe, forty-eight, assistant manager of the Consolidated Mining Company, rejoined his family in Guanajuato today after being released by kidnappers who seized him Thursday. Lampes release by his abductors was announced by American Consul-General James Stewart. It was understood that ransom of 3,000 was paid. The bandits held Lampe, formerly of Denver, Colorado, in the wild mountain fastnesses of the state of Guanajuato, threatening to kill him unless their ransom demands were met within a stated period.
