1 BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES I « $ Miss Sherry Balleras claimed Broadkill out of the fifth race from J. Gosselin for ,250. M. P. Lyons will train Broadkill for Miss Balleras. Apprentice Eddie Elam, who rode the first winner of his career, One Night,- in the sixth race Monday, is seventeen years old and hails from Lexington, Ky. He started his riding career at New Orleans last winter and is under contract to Ivan H. Parke. Trainer Bob Mozer returned to Beulah Park Monday after making a hurried trip to the bedside of his wife, who is ill in Indiana. Mrs. Mozer was reported much improved Monday. While being galloped Monday morning with a pony, Gold Publicity broke loose and . ran a short distance from the track. She received minor cuts and bruises and was I scratched from Mondays fifth race.
