PRIZE TO ST. LOUIS MECHANIC COLLINSVILLE, 111., May 8— With the resumption of racing at Fairmount Park Tuesday, after the first dark Monday, the daily award in the patrons handicapping contest will be 00. The winner of the first 00 prize, awarded on Saturday only, was C. A. Boksch, of St. Louis, Mo., who, in his opinion, thought the opening day program of eight races very successful. Boksch, an/unemployed automobile mechanic, picked six winners out of the first seven races. Lady Thirteen, Bokschs selection in the fifth race, was his only choice to run out. Lady Thirteen finished second.
