BULL LEA SLIGHTLY LAMED PIMLICO, Md., May 8— Supporters of Bull Lea in the Dixie Handicap were saddened by the news that the Calumet Farm star and winner of the Widener Cup had come out of an excellent work Sunday with indi cations of lameness. Trainer Frank Kearns is due back from New York and, after inspecting Bull Lea, will give a definite decision on whether or not the son of Bull Dog I will start Wednesday. Bull Lea worked yesterday and was caught at the mile and an eighth in 1:53%.
