DIXIE AND PREAKNESS WORKS BALTIMORE, Md., May 8.— Dixie candidates to work Sunday were: Pompoon, a mile and an eighth in 1:5373 ; Masked Gen-erel, a mile and an eighth in 1:55%, and Hypocrite, a mile in 1:41. Isolater, another candidate, turned eight furlongs in 1:42%. King Ranchs Ciencia, only filly eligible for the Preakness, indicated her fitness for Preakness competition by reeling off a mile in 1:42% on Sunday.
