NEW AMBASSADOR TO POLAND WARSAW, Poland, May 8.— Poland today formally agreed to the appointment of Nicola Charanov, as Soviet ambassador to Warsaw. Charanov formerly was the diplomatic representative of the U. S. S. R. to Athens. The Soviet embassy post in War-: saw has been vacant for two years following friction between the two governments.
