j CHALLENGES FAST WORKOUT LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 8.— Challenge, stable companion of the Kentucky Derby winner, Johnstown, worked a half-mile in the brisk time of :47 over a fast track here yesterday and several hours later was en route to Pimlico with his ilustrious stable-mate. Reputed to be an excellent mudder, Challenge will get into action in the Preak-ness if a wet or soft track prevails for the Maryland classic.
