Won driving; second and third the same. MEDRANO broke in motion and was taken under restraint when outrun, responded in the stretch run and finished fast, disposed of OLD REFRAIN and was drawing away at the end. The latter moved up with a rush after the start, showed speed while saving ground and had no mishaps in the running. WOODVILLE raced forwardly all the way and could not menace the leaders at the end. BONNY IMP lacked early speed, was placed under pressure in the stretch run and finished fast. LANCEMAN showed a flash of early speed and then quit. FLEET ADMIRAL was outrun. Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third easily. TARBRUSH jumped well and was kept forwardly throughout, responded to pressure in the stretch run, wore down CADEAU II. and drew away at the end. CADEAU II. displayed speed from the start, saved ground throughout and then hold on well to the finish. SANTI QUARANTI jumped well and, under restraint in the early running, moved up when urged, but could ont menace the leaders. BAGPIPE jumped well, was gaining when he slipped on the flat "rounding the stretch turn and tired thereafter. SAPELO jumped well, but was never a factor in the running. BLACKCOCK was outrun from the start. SNOBBY SCAMP lost rider after taking the twelfth fence. KUMMEL lost rider on the flat after taking the sixth fence. FLYING LANCER broke in a tangle from outside the stalls, moved up fast when urged and then hung from early efforts. SELF SERVICE was close up the first part, but could not menace the leaders at any stage. BRIGHT THORN raced greenly throughout the running. NIJINSKY had no mishaps in the running. Won easily; second and third driving. PERIDA raced true and displayed high speed from the start, drew away into a safe lead, was roused in the final eighth and finished with speed in reserve. US was well up on the inside and raced true throughout, responded in the final eighth, but could not menace the winner. RANCHOS GIRL improved her position from a slow beginning, responded to pressure in the final quarter mile and finished with good courage. PIQUET raced true on the inside from the start and finished with good courage. FAIRY CHANT was close up from the start and had no mishaps in the runnnig. SCURRY showed an even effort all the way. BIG BEAUTY raced greenly from the start. GRAND LADY showed an even effort. SPANKED broke from outside the stalls and never was a serious factor. BLACK GNAT raced greenly all the way.
