Other Nebraska stables to arrive at Ak-Sar-Ben early were Iver and Gus Anderson of Hoskins, Neb., with On the Go, Goldey Gray, Bonney Gray, Coo Boo, War Imperial and C. C. McKibbin of Bridgeport with Seth Omar and Omar Burton. Iver Anderson is the father of the good jockey of the same name. The Pony Creek Stables of Oklahoma is an early arrival at Ak-Sar-Ben with Scholar Girl, Your Choice, Snazy, Ma Did It, Miss Twigg and Donald K. Another stable from the Sooner State to reach Ak-Sar-Ben early is that of V. V. Long of Oklahoma City with Rhimax, Max Martis, Laughing Heels, Gay Kahn, Extremus and Kay Kay. R. J. Kerruish of Littleon, Colo., got in early with Light Chief and By Please and Charles Briddle of Kansas City came up with Migal.
