STUMPTOWN moved up strongly oearing the turn for home and, taking command, drew clear through the final eighth. PARRISH ROACH raced into contention when entering the stretch and held on better than usual in the final drive. WOODBRIDGE closed stoutly on the outside during the run home. PLAY SHOOT also closed ground in the stretch, finishing well. WEE HEDWIG raced well for seven-eighths, then gave up and had no excuses. AMASIN tired badly. The others were outrun.
