1 ■" ■■■ygS WITHHOLD KUHNS PASSPORTS NEW YORK, N. Y., May 13— Despite denials by Fritz Kuhn, head of the German-American Bund, and two of his aides, that they planned to leave the country, District Attorney Thomas E. Dewey is pressing his probe of bund finances. Mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia, believing the trio might be planning to leave, asked Secretary of State Cor-dell Hull to withhold approval of their passports. It was announced later in Washington that the matter was under consideration. Meanwhile, authorities in New York revealed they are inquiring into tax payments made by the bund on tickets to its various affairs. In addition to Kuhn, according to Mayor LaGuardia, the bund members who allegedly planned to leave the country are Fritz Schwiering and Gerhard W. Kunze.
