VALDINA JUVENILES AT DOWNS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 13.— The already pretentious band of Valdina Farms thoroughbreds that J. J. Flanigan has been racing at Churchill Downs was augmented by sixteen juveniles from Emerson F. Woodwards farm in Texas. Having shipped well, the newcomers were on the track this morning. The youngsters were prepared over the farms training track and are a promising looking band. Most of them will get their first taste of competition early in the Chicago racing season, which gets under way at Lincoln Fields May 25. Woodward, who went to his farm after the running of the Kentucky Derby, returned to Louisville today to remain until the close of the current meeting.
