Evans is distributing catalogs for the Keeneland summer sales, which will be held at the Lexington salesring from July 26 through July 29. The catalogs contain data on 443 yearlings consigned by 102 "thoroughbred breeders from Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee and other states. The Breeders Sales Company executives anticipate another outstanding auction which undoubtedly will parallel that of 1947. Several improvements have been completed for the 1948 sale, including the construction of two new barns and added communication facilities, several additional long distance telephones have been installed near the salesring. Chartered planes will handle a part of the transportation problem for New York and Chicago sectors. George B.
