01 Skipper Accomplishes Speedy Muddy Track Trial ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, Dl., June 28. Ol Skipper, crack two-year-old colt in the Chicago-owned John Marsch stable, turned in an outstanding five -furlong trial over the muddy track here this morning, stepping that distance in :5Sy5, handily, from the starting gate. Immediately after the brilliant trial, Trainer Leonard Wilson stated that Ol Skipper will fill his engagement in the 0,000 Primer Stakes on Wednesday, barring a mishap between now and post time for the five and one-half furlongs dash. Dixianas Four Winds, speedy four-year-old homebred filly, also had a fast drill, going five-eighths from the gate over-the soft footing in :59, handily. Four Winds won the Princess JDoreen Stakes here last year and she is being pointed for several filly and mare fixtures to be decided during the 1948 Arlington and Washington season, according to word from her trainer, Jack C. Hodgins.
