KINDLY MISS, away fastest, had P"Tt0Tta1Je,1a snrt lead in the backstretch, drew clear on the turn and continued well under mild hand urging. SWIFT TOWN, a forward factor from the beginning, raced in closest pursuit of the winner, but was unable to threaten -while easily best of the others. LIMERICK BABE lacked early speed while trailing, but closed with a rush. AGUILUCHO made up some ground from a slow beginning. CALICO CORN could not improve her position. SUN VIGIL, under restraint while racing close to the pace, responded well when roused to move between horses, took command in the stretch and drew out to win easily. BOQUHAN lacked early speed, swung around the outside for the drive, went slightly wide and finished fast. NOT SO GOOD was able to shake off BROWN CLIPPER and take a clear lead on the turn saved ground and held on well. ALL FAITH moved into closer contention between horses in the stretch, then hung. GLANGOLLY raced evenly, but was tiring. BROWN CLIPPER flashed early speed, then quit. BRACKET was never a threat. Scratched 51412 Make It Easy, 118. BALLADANTE ,was hustled into a clear lead at once and was steadied in front, but was kept under mild urging to the end LITTLE K00 slow to settle in stride, secured room on the inside to save ground entering the stretch and finished well. MIDNIGHT OIL raced evenly and forwardly, but could not improve his positron. COUNT DOUBLE trailed to the final turn then made up some ground on the outside. JUNIE had speed to race in closest pursuit of the winner to the stretch, but tired from the effort. ALANAY was unable to engage the leaders. SIR SPIC broke well, but fell back at once, then moved up on the turn, but flattened out. Overweight Balladante, 1 pound. Alanay claimed by S. J. Brown. FIFTH RACE 5-8 MILE. ALAFLAG, steadied closest to the pace of BURNING CHIPS, moved into closer contention and raced the latter into submission to take a short lead in the stretch, then met the bid of the winner stubbornly. BURNING CHIPS was sent into a clear lead and, steadied in front, gave way gradually when Challenged. KING VICTORY trailed to the final turn, then made up some ground on the outside. Won driving; second and third the same DOVER ROAD, away fastest, was sent clear and rated in front throughout, then held on stoutly. BAY ACRE, never far back, moved up stoutly on the outside on the final turn and made a stout bid to reach the winner in the stretch, but was not good enough. RENO UPTART, slow to settle in stride, moved up quickly in the backstretch, but was unable to improve his position thereafter. WAR EDICT raced evenly and finished well. GOOD BREAK had early speed, but could not keep up and pulled up lame. FIVE A. M. was not dangerous. REWARD ALL was done early. SWEEP SWINGER propped when the start came and trailed far back. HAIR STYLIST moved up readily after going a mile, but was not good enough for the winner. COO trailed early, but closed some ground in the late stages. SWEET ALICE was under stout restraint while closest to the early pace, but did not respond when called upon. SWEEPING MANNA raced evenly. LIMEHOUSE had early speed, but quit badly and was eased.
