GANADO, in hand while racing on the outside to the upper turn, moved up steadily approaching the stretch, disposed of PHANTOM HEELS in the drive and won going away. PHANTOM HEELS, forwardly placed throughout, held a clear lead entering the stretch and continued willingly, but was unable to withstand, the winner. ATOKA LAD, reserved to the final quarter, closed gamely under punishment. TOY BOMB weakened after racing prominently to the stretch. BOLO FANCY made the pace for five-eighths, then tired. VALDINA VICAR- had no mishap. CURLER began fast, but could not keep up. GENIES MATE had early speed. AIR POWER began sluggishly. ROBINS PET engaged ERMELIA from the start, gave way momentarily to the latter rounding the upper turn, came again to take command and drew clear through the stretch to win with something left. PHIL TOWN, forwardly placed from the start, came gamely when set down in the drive, but could not threaten the winner, although easily best of the others. ERMELIA, much used racing with ROBINS PET to the stretch, had nothing left for the drive. MARTHARINE, on the outside throughout, could not better her position under hard urging in the drive. KENDOR lacked early speed. BOLD DANDY could not keep up. CARREAU had speed to the stretch, then tired. FRENCH LURE was never a threat. TOPNARD disliked the muddy going. BALSAMAR was through after three-eighths of a mile. ADMIRED went to the front at once established a clear lead, but was ridden out through the stretch to increase her advantage. BLUE MOLLY, away alertly and never far back, finished willingly under brisk handling, but could not reach the winner, although easily best of the others. SCAPAGAL steadily improved her position after beginning slowly, but could not menace the leaders. DULKA engaged ADMIRED to the stretch, then weakened. MARGARET BLEN raced evenly without mishap. SECLUSIVE began alertly, then dropped far back after the start and could not reach serious contention thereafter. HITHERTO, fractious at the post, began slowly. LEAS ROSE was outrun. LOVELY NYMPH was never a serious factor. BADLY BROKE raced greenly. BYWAY was through early. RESTLESS RUTH failed to stay after displaying early speed. DEWEY H. steadily improved his position, but could not reach the winner when set down for the stretch run. MUD GUARD, far back and on the outside to the last three-eighths, made up ground thereafter, but could not reach the leaders. MOGADOR, racing on the inside from the start, closed willingly under brisk handling. PHASTARIS raced well to the final eighth, then weakened. BURGOOS GAL, on the outside all the way, was unable to reach serious contention. ROSE LIGHT was outrun. LOTOFTOWN had early speed. MOON BLUE began sluggishly. PENNILESS went to the front at once and set the pace until inside the stretch, then gave way. TETRA BREEZE had brief speed, but failed to stay. CHARLEY COOK did not like the muddy track. ISTAN was hustled to the front soon after the start, established a clear lead before reaching the stretch and retained the advantage thereafter without need of urging. FIRST WHIRL worked his way forward to the stretch, responded well when set down in the drive, but could not get to the winner. SLAMARANTH held on well in a good effort and had no mishap. HARD HELD, lacked early speed, but finished fast under brisk urging. HIGH SHINE raced prominently and saved ground to the stretch, then tired. MERRYMARCH began fast, but could not keep up. PELURE broke slowly. NAVY CROSS was outrun -and did not like the muddy track. ONE ATOM was far back throughout. SIR BIM quit badly after racing well to the stretch. Scratched 51256 Brief Sigh, 107. SHY GUY, away alertly, "was taken back when caught in close quarters after reaching the upper turn, was sent to the outside to secure racing room, responded readily to mild urging, wore down WITHASTAR and won going away; The latter assumed command early, made the pace until inside the stretch, was unable to withstand the winner, but was easily best of the others. REIGHS COMET raced -prominently for five-eighths, then weakened. CAILLOU ROUGE tired after racing well to the stretch. ON THE WAY was outrun. KNIGHTS HILL was never a serious threat. HAPPY ISSUE began fast, but dropped back immediately after the start and was outrun to the stretch, came between horses during the drive and, responding to punishment, wore down the leaders during the final furlong. DEMURE, away slowly and far back for a half mile, came to the inside entering the stretch and closed with a rush, but was not good enough for the winner. BOGLE raced prominently to the stretch, then drifted out during the drive, but held on determinedly under brisk urging. SWEET WOMAN went to the front early, engaged BOGLE to the last furlong, then faltered. LUCKY M. was outrun. PROUD RULER failed to stay after showing early speed.
