My Love Takes Grand Prix De Paris Under Johnstone PARIS, France, June 28 Reuters .The Aga Khans My Love, by Vatellor For My Love, winner of the Epsom Derby, won the Grand Prix de Paris, the most important race in the French calendar, run over 15 furlongs at Longchamps yesterday and became the first horse to complete this double since Spearmint achieved the feat in 1906. My Love was ridden by Rae Johnstone, for whom the race provided a fourth episode in a great riding feat. After his victory with My Love in the Epsom Derby, Johnstone rode Bey to win the French Derby and Nathoo the Irish Derby. My Love, a 2-to-l favorite, won by a length and a half over Robert Forgets Flush Royal, with Constant Candammes Bey third in the field of 14. His victory gave the Aga Khan the fourth of a series of big prizes for he had already won the Epsom Derby and Oaks and the Irish Derby. My Love paid 30 to 10 in the mutuels. Time for the race was 3:12.52.
