Twelve Sprinters Namerf For Count Fleet Purse Cowlan Likely to Rule Choice In Six-Furlong Allowance Test AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 28. The Count Fleet Purse, a six-furlong dash designed for three-year-olds and upward under allowance conditions, headlines the attractive eight-race program to be presented at this well-appointed Omaha course on tomorrows ladies day card. Twelve evenly matched sprinters were named for the feature, and an interesting contest is sure to result. The remainder of the afternoons agenda is comprised of one other allowance test, a special weights event for two-year-olds, and five claiming races. W. T. Beezleys consistent Cowlan promises to furnish the chief contention to the Count Fleet entrants should she choose to run one of her best races. The well-regarded daughter of Catlan has scored two victories thus far during the current meeting, and has been forwardly placed in each of her other engagements. The Beezley charge also will be benefited by an "off" track that may prevail for tomorrows sport. Light thunder showers were predicted in the Omaha area following a steady rain which blanketed the city on Monday morning. Capt. Patti, owned by H. F. LUer, performed creditably in last Saturdays edition of the George Brandeis Memorial Handicap, when he finished fifth, to the more formidable middle distance horses on the groundsrand should offer stern competition. Of the remaining candidates, J. D. Taylors Anaesthesia, and Kay Vee Stables Burning Step shape up as the most, likely to upset. Anaesthesia has yet to win at. Ak-Sar-Ben, but has been racing consistently well and must always be regarded as a dangerous factor. Burning Step has registered one success at the meeting, and should be hard to down if the racing strip should be termed heavy. Others in the Count Fleet field are A. and F. Gatewoods Master Bird; Paul Wilsons Vivian C, H. B. Bartow Jr.s Hungry, J. R. Schwartz Hadanzil, H. T. Deahls Lady Psychic, Benjamin Abrams Royalong, W. D. Rorick and L. O.
