UP News Briefs General Collins Reviews Bombing .Question WASHINGTON, D. C, May 26.— Gen. J. Lawton Collins said today that Gen. Douglas MacArthur raised the question of bombing Red Chinese targets in Manchuria last November 7, but made "no specific request" for permission to bomb them. Appeals Again to Iran TEHRAN, Iran, May 26.— The United States appeared again to the Iranian government today to try to reach a peaceful settlement of the bitter Anglo-Iranian oil dispute. "The visit of the group has been linked with peace talks which have been rumored going on," the dispatch said.
