TURBAN went to the front before going a furlcng, held a clear lead when settled in the stretch, but was* vigorously handled to withstand KEEP MOVING. The latter, outrun early, steadily improved position after the initial quarter mile, was sent between horses during the drive, but could not overtake the top one. TOLECA, a keen factor from-the start, held on well in a sharp effort and had no mishap. ANOTHER ENORA had no excuse. FLORIZAN SAM failed to rally when set down through the stretch. MONFALON faiied to stay after showing early speed. BUMBASHOOT raced wide. DONQUEST could not keep up after starting alertly. BLABBER MOUTH broke well, but dropped but of serious contention after racing prominently to the upper turn. TWEEN MEALS showed nothing. LADY HALTAL quit. Scratched— 165614 Roscoe Goose, 115. ROBIN RED, away sluggishly, saved ground while moving up fast to take command, established a clear lead and then drew out to win as his rider pleased. CLEANED lacked early foot, closed willingly under urging, but could not threaten the winner. BOTHER made a good bid entering the stretch, but faltered during the drive. TOMATO lacked racing room when near the furlong pole and could not get to the~leaders when finally clear. ROYTIG tired during the stretch run. AMACHANCE was never dangerous. WINABET tired after racing prominently to the stretch. DELIGHTED was far back throughout. KING VICTORY showed nothing. CLAY PIGEON, a keen factor from the beginning, entered the stretch with a clear lead, continued willingly, but could not withstand the winner. PUSSY WILLOW raced evenly to the stretch and closed gamelyr but was unable to threaten the leaders. ARABY QUEEN had early speed, bore out badly at the stretch turn and could not threaten when straight for the drive. KIBBITZ was outrun. JAPHAP raced wide.
