Rule on Stremmel Foals NEW YORK, N. Y., May 26.— The stewards of The Jockey Club yesterday, in reply to an inquiry from Bill Stremmel, former Vallejo, Calif., breeder, ruled that foals owned by him would not be eligible for racing permits, if sold. The Jockey Club further ruled that no foals purchased from him subsequent to July 18, 1950, will be permitted to race. Last year the stewards ruled Stremmel off all tracks under its jurisdiction for gross irregularities in registering 17 foals bred by him. The horses were permitted to race, but were denied recognition for breeding purposes.
