► ; Major Factor Gives Taylor Second Win in Kings Plate WOODBINE PARK, Toronto, Ont., May 26. — Major Factor, rangy three-year-old son of Boswell — Aldwych, carried the turquoise and gold silks of E. P. Taylor to their second success in the Kings Plate when he turned back 20 other Canadian-breds of his own age in the ninety-second renewal • of the Ontario Jockey Club Classic here at Woodbine Park this afternoon. Handled superbly by jockey Alfie Bavington, Major Factor came to the close of Canadas most coveted turf prize a length before the Medway Sta-/bles Libertine, who was an easy second by three and a quarter lengths over James G. Fairs Bear Field. Britannia, another E. P. Taylor colorbearer and who was rated the strongest contender of the pair, raced into fourth position. By his victory, Major Factor, who was bred by Taylor, earned a purse of 6,005. The proud owner was presented with the trophy by Viscount Alexander. The winner completed his task in/ 1:53 over a fast track and before a near-record gathering of 35,000 fans. The afternoon was perfect for the sport.
