Van Bergs Detroit Contingent DETROIT, Mich., May 26.— Marion H. VanBerg, Columbus, Nebr., turfman, is represented at the local course this season by a useful division of his big stable. Sections of the VanBerg unit also are in action at Omahas Ak-Sar-Ben meeting, Fair-mount Park, and the Lincoln Pields-at-Washington Park session. The local VanBerg string includes Required, Steady Beau, Monfalon, You Are You, Gay Sen-orita, Sugar Beet, Miss Bob, Partridge, Grey Scout, and Brownanne, victress in the initial event of the present Michigan Racing Association meeting.
